IN MY WORK I EMPLOY SYMBOLIC ELEMENTS SUCH AS CITY STREETS AND MY BODY AS A CANVAS TO ILLUSTRATE THE PASSING OF TIME AND THE BRUTALITY OF THE REAL. MY WORKS ARE ANCHORED IN THE REALITY THAT THEY OFTEN START FROM IN HIS EFFORTS TO DISCOVER THEIR POSSIBILITIES. A STREET IN A EUROPEAN CITY (NEWS DISPERSED), A ROAD AT THE SOUTHERNMOST TIP OF SOUTH AMERICA (TOWARDS THE END), MY BODY (SLAP) ARE HERE THE IMPULSES, THE PLACE OF RECEPTION OF WHAT I INVENT FROM THESE SELECTED SITUATIONS.

I THINK I CAN NEVER REMAIN WITH REALITY. I ALWAYS HAVE TO INTRODUCE A DISPLACEMENT OF REALITY INTO REALITY IN ORDER TO CREATE; THERE ALWAYS HAS TO BE SOMETHING IN REALITY – A MODIFICATION, AN INTERVENTION, AN ADDITION – WHICH HAS TO HAVE THE LAST WORD, TO MAKE SOMETHING DIFFERENT OUT OF THAT WHICH IS. I THINK I CAN DEFINE MY WORKS SUCH AS "ASSISTED READYMADES" (A TERM INVENTED BY STEVEN PARRINO). I USE REAL ENVIRONMENTS, REAL SITUATIONS, REAL PEOPLE AND REAL STREETS TO SHIFT FURTHER THE REALITY THROUGH VIDEO OR PHOTOGRAPHY OR AN ACTION OR PERFORMANCE TO GET A BETTER IDEA OF THE REALITY ITSELF.
